Are You Doing a First Look?

Are you interested in doing a First Look (when the wedding couple see each other prior to the ceremony)? This is done about 90 minutes to 2 hours prior to the ceremony time, and is a great way to calm wedding nerves, gives the two of you a special moment together, and reduces portrait time after your ceremony so you can enjoy your party and guests!

Detail Photos

***For weddings that have booked getting ready coverage only*** Would you like your detail items photographed? When I arrive to photograph your getting ready moments + details, it helps to have a "Detail Kit" assembled with all of the items that you would like me to style in your initial detail photographs. This kit could contain any of the following items: Paper Suite (Invitation, Save the Date, Envelope, etc.), Jewelry Shoes Swatches of Lace or Fabric Heirloom Pieces Garter Partner gifts/cards Rings I love photographing the rings before the day gets started so once the ceremony is underway, the rings do not leave your finger for the remainder of the day! It also helps to have your gown/suit/other attire hanging from a wood hanger with any pins or stuffing removed! If you would like wedding party members dresses or suit jackets photographed as well, be sure to have them all hanging when I arrive. This gives me more time to find the perfect place to photograph your details, rather than spending those precious minutes unpinning and hanging.

If there is anything out of the ordinary happening during your ceremony or reception that I should know about so I can be ready for? Examples: Couple is NOT walking down aisle but arriving to ceremony from a side entrance by the altar, pets will be in the ceremony wearing wedding attire, etc.

Family Formal Portraits

Please provide a detailed list with each portrait you would like taken for your family formals. Please take the number of portraits into account when scheduling out time ( A general guideline is 2-3 minutes for each portrait requested.) Below is my foundational formals list. Please customize it to meet the needs of your family and PLEASE INCLUDE THE NAME OF EACH FAMILY MEMBER alongside their relation to you. For example: Mom (Carla), Step-Dad (Dante), etc. — The list below takes approximately 30 minutes to complete (10 minutes to gather family members + 20 minutes to execute)! Do you have a location in mind or may I find a natural light location for optimal aesthetic quality? Are there any special or uncomfortable family situations that I should be aware of before formal portraits? IMPORTANT: Please tell all family members involved in formals when and where they need to be for photographs! Corralling and finding individuals on the wedding day can be difficult and I’ve found that things go smoother when everyone is on the same page in advance.
